Lipperd elected to CCAA Hall of Fame

Champions, pioneers, record-setters, and leaders define the California Collegiate Athletic Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Samantha Lipperd falls into every one of those categories..

Lipperd, who pitched for the Sonoma State softball team from 2010 to 2013, is one of the 2026 inductees to the California Collegiate Athletic Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026. From the CCAA’s Hall of Fame news release:

“Opposing hitters spent four seasons searching for answers to Samantha Lipperd's overpowering presence in the circle, as the Sonoma State standout built one of the most decorated pitching careers in conference history. During her remarkable career, Lipperd established herself as one of the most accomplished pitchers ever to compete in the conference, helping lead the Seawolves to consistent postseason success while rewriting both school and conference record books.”
