Najee Tobin is a photographic artist who was born and raised in Vallejo, CA. who currently resides in Oakland, CA. His practice utilizes portraiture, still life Tableaus, and set design to create from an empathetic and imaginative lens. Using inspiration from Irving Penn, Bruce Davidson, Keith Carter, Awol Erizku, Dawoud Bey, and Eric Heart Jr, his work centers around the human condition and the nuances that accompany it. He hopes to open his viewers to honest and thoughtful conversations around what it means to exist.
