6th Annual Graduate Student Showcase

On Tuesday, April 10, 2012, the University Graduate Studies Subcomittee and the Office of the Provost will host Sonoma State University’s sixth annual Graduate Student Showcase. The Showcase will feature paper presentations, creative and multimedia presentations, and poster sessions developed and presented by master’s degree candidates and recent master’s degree recipients from programs across campus. Information about SSU master's degree programs will also be available.

This free event is open the entire campus community as well as our community partners.

Time: 4:30 to 7:00 PM (Schedule will be posted in late March)
Location: The Commons, Sonoma State University

Purposes of the Showcase

  • To highlight talents and accomplishments of SSU master’s degree candidates and recent graduates
  • To showcase the range, diversity, and high quality of master’s degree programs offered across the Sonoma State University campus
  • To showcase the connection and importance of our master’s degree programs to the SSU service area
  • To prepare master’s degree students for presenting research in scholarly conference formats
  • To provide a forum for newer graduate students and interested undergraduates to see what kind of work is required of master’s degree candidates
  • To provide graduate students with feedback on work in progress
