Representing about 16% of the SSU population, fraternities and sororities play an important role on campus as well as throughout the community. Fraternity/Sorority Life at Sonoma State Universtiy has a set of shared values that the members strive to exemplify every day!

Since 1776, Fraternities and sororities have enhanced the lives of thousands of men and women, and whether joining a (inter)national organization, or one of our local fraternities or sororities, you will be part of over 230 years of tradition.
- More than 7 million men and women in the US and Canada are affiliated with fraternities or sororities.
- F/S affiliated students are more likely to be involved in student organizations than non-affiliated students.
- Nationally, F/S members have a 20% higher graduation/retention rate than non-affiliated students.

Panhellenic Council - Extension at SSU!!
Welcome Back Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. - After a brief hiatus from Sonoma State University, the Mu Omega chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will be rechartering in Spring 2012. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc is a member of IFC at Sonoma State University and will be hosting informational sessions at the beginning of the spring semester. Over 350 fraternity/sorority students participated in this year's Sonoma Serves!! Fraternity/Sorority members made up over 70% of the participants in this year's event. Be on the lookout for a possible Spring version being sponsored by the fraternity/sorority community.
