Residential Academic Communities: FLCs that Connect to a Residential Community

Residential Academic Communities are unique environments in which groups of students share a common residential and academic experience. These communities help students create a strong link between their lives in the residence hall and learning experiences in the classroom. Residential Academic Communities also provide an environment that is conducive to building a strong, cohesive peer support system that will serve the students throughout their academic and professional careers. Students in each living-learning program are housed together in designated villages and take pre-determined classes together that count toward graduation and GE requirements.
