Casey

Hi! My name is Casey Pomicpic and I am a fourth year senior. I am originally from Folsom, CA and I came to SSU as a freshman right after high school. I am a Communications major with an emphasis in Journalism. As the editor-in-chief of our student produced newspaper, The STAR, I get real world career experience everyday. I love SSU because the campus is beautiful, the students are open and accepting and the teachers are personable and helpful. Sonoma State has given me the opportunity to further my education, make lifelong friends and grow as an individual.

Karol

Karol

Hello, my name is Karol Ramirez. I am a third year here at the Sonoma State University and I'm double majoring in Sociology and Spanish. I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Oxnard. I moved to St. Helena, VALLEY OF THE GRAPES! When I was seven and have lived there since. I decided to come to Sonoma State University because it is close to my house but its also far enough to feel like I live on my own and I love the beauty of the campus. I got involved on campus my first year working on campus and joining Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. I have had the best experiences of my life here and I have truly enjoyed college so far.

Judith

Judith

Hi! I'm Judith Arce aka Judi. I'm a third year majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice studies with a minor in Sociology. I am originally from Winters, Ca; a beautiful small town, which I miss occasionally. I love being here at Sonoma State University because everyone is very friendly, the campus is small and beautiful and the teachers are very resourceful. There are tons of ways to get involved on campus. As a Latina I decided to join Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Incorporated, which has really opened the doors into other leadership positions; including being a campus tour guide. I love my job because I have a lot of fun showing prospective students around our beautiful campus and I can't wait to show you around campus as well! I wanted to say thank you to my Mom (Elia) and my Dad (Baldo) for giving me the opportunity to educate myself at such a wonderful school!

My name is William Harrison, and I am in my fourth year at Sonoma State University, and I couldn't be happier! I am originally from Pasadena in Los Angeles County, so I found SSU to be quite the adjustment. When I began my pursuit for the ideal university I was very pleased with all that Sonoma had to offer. The small class sizes create excellent learning opportunities as well as a strong student community. As I look back at all of the decisions that I made my senior year of high school I am thrilled to proclaim that I wouldn't change a thing. Hopefully you will find Sonoma State just as exhilarating and fulfilling as I do!

Erin

Erin

Hi! My name is Erin Hill. I am currently a junior here at Sonoma State and I'm a Business Administration major. I am originally from Los Angeles, California and this is my first year as a tour guide! I love it here at Sonoma State! I couldn't have picked a better school. Sonoma State has provided me with everything I need and more to have the complete college experience! The students here are extremely friendly and the professors here really want you to learn! I've enjoyed my time here at Sonoma and you will too!

Ajay

Ajay

Greetings my fellow earthlings. My name is Ajay Butler-Jones. I'm currently a junior pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. I'm young, I'm black, and my hats real low. I was born and raised in Stockton. I came to SSU because they were able to accommodate my financial needs. The university has further challenged my knowledge and helped open my eyes to new ideals and ways of life. Being of African American decent has opened many doors for me including helping me join historically black fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated by enhancing my leadership skills and networking beyond my college experience.
