Job Title: Development/Communication Associate
Compensation: unpaid
Internship Length: 2 semester

Duties:Assist Development Director with communication activities (agency-wide). Special event planning and implementation. Coordination of logistics for minor development activities.
Qualifications: Interest in communications – related studies a plus.
Additional Information: Upon declaration of the “War on Poverty,” which resulted from the economic Opportunity Act of 1964, President Lyndon B. Johnson created what has grown to over 1,000 of these Community Action Agencies across the nation – together Helping People, Changing Lives. Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County has been partnering with low income families and individuals to help them achieve economic and social stability; to build community and to advocate for social and economic justice for over 40 years and has a rich history and strong allies here in Sonoma County.
