Job Title: AmeriCorps Part-Time Mentor
Compensation: $772.00 per month PLUS $2,362.50 Educational Award PLUS Free Training

Duties: Part-time mentors serve approx. 27 hrs/wk for the entire school year. Mentors are paired with several students who need extra help in reading and work with them one-on-one four times a week. Mentors work in the after school program, supporting classrooms and helping at-risk children excel in school. Implement reading and math curriculum, PE, Nutrition, Art and Service Learning Activities.
Qualifications: Committed to serving the community; reliable and responsible; able to work well with children; able to make a commitment of 1 full school year (Sep-June).
