Hate Crime Prevention Presentation at SSU

Daring to Reach Equality Among Many (DREAM), a campus organization associated with Sonoma State University's Office of Residential Life, is hosting a presentation on hate crime prevention on Friday May 12th, from 10 a.m. until noon. The presentation is designed to expose faculty, staff and student leaders to hate crime issues as part of the "Hate Stops Here!" campaign sponsored by the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights. The campaign is helping to build hate-free communities in Sonoma County by teaching community members how to detect hateful behavior and stop it before it reaches a violent level.

The DREAM presentation will take place in the Cabernet Village Carneros Room in Sonoma State University's residential community. For more information about DREAM or the "Hate Stops Here!" campaign at Sonoma State University, contact Residential Life Coordinator Corey Seemiller at (707) 664-3711.
