Transfer students should attend a University orientation as soon after admission as possible. Visit the University's transfer student orientation site for upcoming dates and other important information by clicking here.
If you have completed coursework at a community college that you believe will meet any part of our pre-business requirements or economics requirements you may view our Transfer Advisory List (pdf) to see which courses we have approved as substitutions for courses required in our program. The list is updated on an ongoing basis, but is subject to change at any time with or without notice. If you do not find your college or course listed, please contact the office and request a Transfer Course Substitution Request form.
Please note: This list is NOT a substitute for recommended advising procedures.
All students should meet with the academic advisor to evaluate progress toward the degree. Call the office at (707) 664-2377 to set up an appointment before or during your first semester at SSU.
Students admitted as pre-business majors are under the advisement of the school's academic advisor. Call the office to set up an appointment (707) 664-2377.
Students admitted as Economics majors are under advisement of their faculty advisor, which is assigned by the Department Chair, but should see the school's advisor for questions regarding GE requirements.
