CRIME BULLETIN: Residential Burglary (459 PC, Case 24–031) Inbox

The Sonoma State University Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on February 13, 2024, between 5:30 and 6 a.m., in Tuscany Village. Property from the residence was taken, but was later recovered at a residence in the city of Rohnert Park.

Additionally, a female suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Sonoma County Jail.

We are seeking community assistance to locate any witnesses who may have seen this suspect yesterday morning in the area of Tuscany Village around the time of the burglary. The suspect is described as a white female adult, 37 years of age, 5’ 7” tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with light-brown shoulder-length hair, multiple ear piercings, and wearing a sweatshirt and possibly jeans.

If you know something: Anyone with information that might assist with the investigation is urged to call the Sonoma State University Police Department at (707) 664-4444.

  • Immediately and promptly report any suspected crime, suspicious persons, or activities on campus by calling 911 or the non-emergency line at 707-664-4444 or by utilizing one of the many Blue Light Phones on campus.
  • If you believe that you or someone else is in an unsafe situation, please do not delay calling 911 or seeking assistance from others. (if applicable)
  • Be alert to your surroundings. Your actions as an active bystander can help prevent crimes from occurring within our campus community. 
  • Call the Sonoma State University Police Department for an on-campus safety escort or walk with another person or group of people.
