Start date approximately August 1, 2008. We are looking for a warm and loving live-in babysitter for our little boy who is 3 ½ years old and our daughter who was born on May 1, 2008 . Duties include: Babysitting/Childcare 20-30 hours per week (weekdays + one evening); Light housekeeping and occasional cooking included in above hours; Some driving included in above hours. In exchange for: Private room which has a bay view and french doors onto the downstairs terrace, plus a bathroom and kitchen which would mostly be used by you only; We have a lovely spacious home in the Oakland hills in Montclair, just south of Berkeley and walking distance to local parks and downtown Montclair; This could be ideal for a full- or part-time student at UCBerkeley, Mills College, or other nearby college; we are approximately 10-15 minutes drive from Cal and Mills campuses right near the intersection of highways 13 and 24. Requirements: Non Smoker/No Drugs; Babysitting/childcare experience including with infants; Warm, loving, energetic, ideally able to commit for at least one year. NB: If person speaks French this would be a plus (though not at all a requirement) as our son is being raised bilingually.
