The SSU Week of Research & Creativity features the outstanding research accomplishments of SSU students and faculty across all academic disciplines. What began four years ago as a one-day symposium showcasing the research accomplishments of undergraduate students has grown into a week long event that includes faculty and graduate level work.

The event, held in the Student Center Ballrooms, begins with the Faculty & Graduate Student Symposium, and includes poster presentations, lightning talks, and live performances. This is followed by the Science Symposium which features poster presentations by student researchers from the School of Science & Technology and WATERS, a collaborative endeavor between Sonoma State University and the Sonoma County Water Agency which undertakes projects that enhance watershed management and academic training of students. The week concludes with the Symposium of Research & Creativity, which features research projects and student researchers from the Schools of Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences, including poster presentations and live performances.
