TO: All employees
FR: Missy Brunetta, Director for Emergency Services and Associate Risk Manager and COVID Monitoring and Compliance Lead

We continue to revise and update procedures to ensure we are maximizing efficiency while doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. In light of this, a few changes have been made to protocols as outlined below.

Wellness screenings
Daily Wellness Screenings are required for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors for every day they are on campus regardless of vaccination status and will continue in 2022. Daily Wellness Screenings are an important mechanism to screen the campus community for COVID-19 symptoms and are required under current Cal-OSHA workplace safety standards. Employees experiencing COVID-19 symptoms can also report symptoms or COVID-19 positive test results through the Daily Wellness Screening.

Meeting attendance logs
Beginning today, in-person meetings that have nine or fewer persons in attendance do not require an attendance log if the event is saved in an electronic meeting or calendar invite for contact tracing purposes. In-person meetings of 10 or more persons require attendance logs to be submitted to risk@sonoma.edu within one business day of the meeting. Events booked through CES with fewer than 10 persons in attendance are required to maintain attendance logs. Find out what to do if you are having a meeting on campus.

Off-schedule visit form
Beginning January 3, 2022, employees are no longer required to submit an off-schedule visit form when accessing campus on a day that is not in their standard on-campus work schedule. Employees should work with their appropriate administrator to arrange for schedule changes or off-schedule visits.
