Effective June 1, 2021, the California State University will resume the authorization of travel that was previously suspended due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This change is being made in consideration of the repopulation of campuses for the Fall 2021 term and the widespread availability of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Travel must be pre-approved and travelers should follow all federal, state, and local health orders in both the area of origin and the destination. The creation of a travel safety plan for each traveler will also be required.

This applies to any and all University and auxiliary travel, including athletics, clubs, and grant-funded travel. Review the Travel Guidelines and Process and the Travel Approval and Safety Plan form in the travel section of the Accounts Payable website
