Today, the office of Senate Pro Tempore McGuire requested that the university share the following information:

North Bay Legislative leaders will hold a Town Hall on the Sonoma State Commitment Initiative at 2 p.m. Monday, August 11 at the Sonoma State University Wine Spectator Learning Center. Through this initiative, the state is allocating a historic $45-million investment to SSU, and the town hall will give the community, Sonoma State representatives, students, and faculty the opportunity to share their perspectives on next steps and implementation. RSVP’ing to the legislative forum is encouraged, but not required.

When: 2 p.m. August 11

Where: Wine Spectator Learning Center at Sonoma State University

Who: Co-chairs of the Legislative Forum Senator Cabaldon (D-Davis) and Assemblymember Damon Connolly (D-San Rafael) will be joined by Senate President Pro Tempore Mike McGuire (D-North Coast) and Assemblymembers Cecilia Aguiar-Curry (D-Winters) and Chris Rogers (D-Santa Rosa).
