We are pleased to share a positive update regarding the contract between Blue Shield of CA and the UC Health system. As of July 8, 2025, Blue Shield of CA and the UC Health system have reached an agreement on a new contract providing Blue Shield members access to care at UC Health’s doctors and hospitals. This means that Blue Shield members enrolled in the following plans will continue to have access to care through the UC Health System:
- PERS Gold PPO
- PERS Platinum PPO
- Blue Shield Access+ HMO
