Communicating Cooperatively at Work
Learn to communicate effectively by enhancing your interpersonal and assertive communication skills. Content includes

  • Emphasizing the importance of communication in your team relationships
  • Successful strategies for both sending and receiving complex communications
  • Five levels of listening
  • Communicating well in problem situations

Project Management Foundations
The IT Project Management Office (PMO) launched the Project Management Foundations Training for employees this summer and is excited to be rolling out additional sessions this fall!  This is an engaging, hands-on workshop focused on learning basic project management principles and practical tools that can be applied directly to participants’ current roles. AI Learning Opportunities for Staff
As part of SSU’s ongoing AI Initiative, IT will be offering a series of smaller, hands-on workshops scheduled regularly to support employees at all levels of experience. These sessions will be tailored to different learning stages, Basic (covering terminology, logging in, and getting started with prompting), Intermediate, and Advanced, to help employees build confidence and practical skills. The CSU systemwide professional development series continues with engaging, interactive webcasts featuring experts in leadership, communication, and workplace effectiveness. CSU Learn Highlights
Managing Student Employees, presented by Beverly Delker Gentry, MBA. 
Learn how to prepare students to be successful employees in your department. This webcast will share techniques for proactive supervision by setting expectations, explaining the requirements of university employment, documenting schedules, coordinating workload, managing performance, and connecting students to important campus resources.

Data and Analytics Literacy Bundle
Literacy in data and analytics allows individuals to derive meaningful information from data in order to make sound, fact-based  decisions and to explore and uncover new opportunities. Courses include Foundations of Data Literacy, Essential Business Analytics, Analytics Literacy for Business Professions, and Basic Analytical Methods.

Presenting Virtually
In this course, you'll learn how presenting virtually can increase your reach and bridge differences, the ways in which presenting virtually is similar to--and different from--presenting face-to-face, and how to set the virtual stage for success. You'll discover behavioral strategies to make virtual presentations come alive, and how to plan your presentations for the unique challenges of remote presenting. And you'll also explore techniques, both technological and personal, that can ensure that every virtual presentation you give is better than the one before.
