July is full of opportunities to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to your well-being. From movement and mindfulness to local events and community partnerships, we invite you to explore this month’s lineup of wellness offerings - there’s something for everyone!

Vitalant Blood Drive
In partnership with the City of Rohnert Park, Vitalant will be hosting an off-campus blood drive on July 22, 2025.

Wellness Webinars
Kaiser Permanente is offering a range of wellness webinars open to all employees, regardless of your health plan. Most sessions are available on-demand for six months after the live stream, with the exception of the Calm Meditation Sessions, which are only available live.

  • Mini Moves - Learn ways to get moving to improve your overall physical health and wellbeing as well as address some health conditions. You will be able to participate in fun activities while learning practical ways to move more, your way, for better health.

  • Screen Smart - Learn tips and strategies to keep your eyes in good health, as we live in this digital age with the growing prevalence of screen use in work, entertainment, and social life.

  • Men’s Health - Review and understand male urinary and reproductive tract anatomy, explore the most common male urologic diseases, and learn about the 6 pillars of Lifestyle Medicine and how lifestyle affects urologic conditions.

  • Cardio Boost - Learn about the health benefits of cardio, and then put them into practice with an upbeat workout, finishing with simple stretches. This session is sure to boost your energy and mood, leaving you ready to take on the day. You will receive recommendations and resources for how to incorporate more movement into your workday.

Yoga and Pilates Classes
Lunchtime classes are open to all experience levels and offer a great mid-day break to stretch, reset, and connect with colleagues. Please join us in Ives 80 from 12:05 to 12:55pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Yoga mats are available.

Couch to 5K Training!
Please join our 45-minute Couch to 5K Training class with Yavé Guzman Valdez (bio)! Training is held weekly on Mondays in Ives 76 and Thursdays at the SSU Track from 12:05 to 12:50pm. All levels are welcome, from beginners to intermediate as well as advanced runners looking for some extra workouts.

Suggested items to bring with you: A pair of good running shoes, comfortable clothing to run in, water, post run snack, and a yoga mat.
