Facilities Management would like to notify the campus of planned power outages on Sunday, September 28 and Monday, September 29 as part of the 12kV electrical infrastructure upgrade.
Sunday, September 28, 6-9 a.m.
Rolling outages will begin within Redwood Drive (Art, Carson, Stevenson, Darwin, Health Center, Schulz, Recreation Center, Student Center, International Hall, Persons, Ives, Salazar, PE). Each of these buildings will experience one outage lasting approximately 15 minutes during this time frame.
Monday, September 29, 4-5 a.m.
There will be a one-hour outage that will affect the Residential Community, Green Music Center, ETC, Baseball, Police Services, and Corp Yard.
Facilities Management advises all individuals with desktop computers not connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to save their work before these outages.
This project will replace aging electrical equipment to enhance system capacity and improve reliability. These upgrades will ensure the campus is well-equipped to meet current needs, support sustainable energy initiatives, and reduce the risk of unplanned outages.
