Big Blue Weekend is back!
Join us October 3-5, 2025 for a celebration that brings together the entire campus community! This special weekend brings together students, families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends for a weekend to remember.
Now in its second year, Big Blue Weekend shines a spotlight on what makes SSU so special. This year’s events will include:
- Parent & Family Weekend Festivities
- SSU Palooza
- Trivia Night at Lobo’s
- Alumni & Community Day
- And so much more!
Big Blue Weekend is a campus-wide collaboration, and we’re inviting you to be part of the planning. Whether you’d like to help shape the weekend behind the scenes or want your program, college, or department to host an event, this is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the incredible work happening across campus.

The deadline to sign up to be involved with this year’s planning committee is Monday, June 23.
The deadline for programs and departments to sign up to participate in the weekend festivities is August 8.
