Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in CSU’s Photo of the Year contest. Each CSU submitted an entry earlier this year; all of the entries and a voting link can be found here: https://www.calstate.edu/csu-
The contest celebrates standout moments from the 2024-25 academic year with images captured by photographers from every CSU campus. Each shot highlights a unique facet of the CSU spirit shared by its faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Sonoma State’s photo, by alumnus Brennan Chin, is a spectacular shot of the 2024 Fourth of July festivities at Green Music Center, which drew a sold-out crowd for an evening full of music and celebration.
The winning photo and photographer will be recognized at an upcoming CSU Board of Trustees meeting.
